  • Monitor transportation performance, transit times, delivery reliability, and costs.

  • Proactively identify potential transportation constraints, delays, or capacity issues and develop alternative solutions.

  • Manage transportation-related incidents, delays, cargo damage, and claims, coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders through resolution.

  • Track shipments and maintain accurate transportation data within company ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

  • Review and validate freight invoices against agreed rates and contractual terms, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Develop and maintain transportation KPIs, cost analyses, and performance reports.

  • Support logistics budgeting and forecasting activities for projects and commercial proposals.

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Project Management, Sales/Proposals, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

  • Support warehouse and distribution outsourcing evaluations when necessary.

  • Ensure transportation providers comply with safety, insurance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Continuously monitor the U.S. transportation market to identify new providers, alternative transportation solutions, and cost-saving opportunities.

The responsibilities listed above represent the primary duties of the position and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all assigned tasks.
